Cisco seeks a Technical Consulting Engineer, Customer Delivery, to join some of the industry’s brightest minds in developing and deploying today’s most advanced Internet technologies. In this role, you will gain insight on the detailed functionality of Cisco products and partner with all distributed elements of the service chain.

Role & Responsibilities
- Works for worldwide customers within her/his own team or with other Cisco teams to solve problems and enhance future products
- Solves reported product and network problems of moderate to high complexity
- Effectively utilize databases of existing issues, debugging tools and simple or moderate lab simulations to analyse problems and identify solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction
- Keeps up-to-date with the latest technology trends/products in order to provide high quality support to customers

As part of the CX Support Services team you will have the opportunity to work with some of our largest customers across various domains, to support complex service requests, and develop automation & Innovation projects inhouse , within the security domain.
Who You Are
The Technical Consulting Engineer will have a working background in the Security domain.
·Should have technical knowledge/experience of Working on features like
NAT, ALG, HA, IDS/IPS
working on AAA technologies like RADIUS, TACACS, DOT1X
working on VPN technologies like IKEv1, IKEv2, PKI, SSL VPN, NHRP, GRE over IPsec, Remote Access VPN Clients etc.
·Good understanding of Cisco ISE architecture and policies
·Good understanding of routing & switching concepts
·Deep understanding of OSI model & protocols like ARP, TCP, IP, DHCP, DNS, IPSEC, ISAKMP
·Working knowledge of Wireshark
·Working knowledge of programming languages like Python
·Experience in working in a Customer support environment with excellent customer handling skills.
·Logical Problem Solving approach and Analytical skills
·Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering
·A minimum of 6-8 years of experience with Security Technologies preferably Cisco
·A minimum of 3 years of experience in Support environment with proven Troubleshooting experience in complex environments,
·Solid technical foundation in networking (CCNA or above) is required
·Cisco Security Certifications (CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCIE Security) would be an added advantage
·Linux, VMware knowledge would be a plus
·Experience in working on Cisco Products – IOS/IOS-XE routers, ASA, FTD etc would be a plus
·Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing; other languages would be a plus
·Passion and demonstrated ability to learn and work in a multicultural team environment
·Ability to drive, achieve goals with limited supervision
